\"\"<\/a>Todd Phillips, director of The Hangover has released another comedy film for 2010 called, Due Date.<\/p>\n

Due Date also stars Hangover funny man Zach Galifianakis who is joined by Iron Man actor Robert Downey Jr. and it is a similar senario of things going wrong, but instead of waking up not\u00a0remembering it, in Due Date we witness all the duos mishaps from start to finish.<\/p>\n

Peter Highman (Downey Jr.) and his wife are expecting a baby, but being all the way in Atlanta and his wife at home in LA and after an unfortunate incident with aspiring actor, Ethan Tremblay (Galifianakis) getting the pair onto the “no fly” list, they are forced to hitch a ride together in order to get Peter back in time to see his wife give birth.<\/p>\n

Very much like his character role in The Hangover, Gilifianakis plays the idiot character Ethan brilliantly, and Downey Jr.’s character Peter doesn’t know what he is getting himself into travelling over 2000 miles with his new “buddy”.<\/p>\n

The film definitely isn’t in the same league as The Hangover, but the film has got a lot of great laugh out loud moments, mostly\u00a0courtesy\u00a0of Galifianakis, but also some brilliant writing from co-writers Alan Cohen and Alan Freedland.<\/p>\n

Not to ruin it for anyone who hasn’t seen it, some of the best lines and moments for me include, “Dad, you was like a father to me”, and a really awkward moment after Peter tells Ethan about his father which is as much\u00a0hilarious\u00a0as it is harsh.<\/p>\n

Overall this was a good comedy to go and see if you want a few laugh out loud moments and if you want to see more stupidness from Galifianakis like you saw in The Hangover, this won’t\u00a0disappoint.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
