The X Factor Final 2010 : Part Two : Live Blog!

It’s the final of the X Factor 2010 and the three finalists Matt Cardle, Rebecca Furguson and One Direction will all sing for the final times to win a £1million recording contract. Not that that really matters though as regardless of the result they will probably all get a contract and will have albums out this time next year, but there has to be just one winner of the show and tonight we will find out who that is.

I will be blogging throughout the final on this post and will keep those of you watching and reading up to date with what is happening on the show and my opinions on the performances. I hope you enjoy the show and I hope you enjoy my first ever live blogging.

Also I just realised that they are calling the winning song When We Collide and not Many of Horror! Bit harsh to Biffy Clyro but I spose it’s the X Factor and they can do what they like!

It’s been a great show The X Factor 2010 and love it or hate it, it gets amazing publicity and produces some great performers that we will see again and remember for a long time!

Congratulations to Matt Cardle on winning but if we was watching football then football would be the winner so I suppose singing is the winner tonight. 🙂

Thank you for reading my reviews every week and I hope you have enjoyed reading my opinions.

21.29

I don’t know if it’s as good as the original but that second performance of the song was definitely better I thought! It’s a great moment seeing scenes like this when a person’s life is completely changed in one night.

21.26

there’s all the pretty blue glow sticks again as Matt performs his brand new single Many of Horror. Will it conquer the charts and get the Christmas number one next week?

21.24

Matt! No real surprise, he has been consistent throughout all the live shows and definitely deserves it! a lovely guy and a great performer. Rebecca is also a well deserved second place and maybe in the time between now and her expected album release she can learn a few dance moves 😉

21.22

good luck to both acts the winner is…

21.20

well here we go… months and months of auditions and live shows and it all comes down to this…

21.18

LINES ARE CLOSED. After the break we will be finding out the winner of the X Factor 2010! My favourite has been Matt for a while so I’m going to have to stay by that and hope we have another Male winner this year but like I’ve been saying a lot on this LiveBlog it really doesn’t matter who wins as both artists I’m sure will have a great career in the music industry.

21.14

oh Robbie Williams you are a strange strange man.

21.12

oooh pretty little glow sticks… how lovely

21.09

oh right it’s Take That again… great surprise X Factor… NOT!

21.04

oooooh a surprise I wonder what the X Factor are going to spring on us this time…

20.59

it really is too close to call for me! the current odds on William Hill is Matt Cardle – 4/9 and Rebecca Furguson – 13/8 so the bookies are still saying Matt, but it could go either way…

20.57

and performing what will be her winner’s single if she gets the votes is Rebecca singing Duffy – Distant Dreamer. I wasn’t overly sure on the song at first but she did sing it so well yet again. I do have to say the best performance of the night so far is from Rebecca but it wasn’t that one. I prefer Matt’s winner’s song but she is a fantastic singer and definitely deserves to be in the final two. If it was on performances tonight she does probably deserve to win but if I had to pick which album I would pick up first if they were both on the shelves this time next year I would pick Matt’s.

20.48

and performing what will be their winner’s single first is Matt singing Biffy Clyro – Many of Horror. This song is suited for Matt much better than his performance earlier and immediately it’s so much better. Again it’s not my favourite Matt Cardle performance but he completely gave it 110% especially at the ending. He is an amazing singer with an incredible voice and I agree completely with Louis that I am really looking forward to hearing his album next year which will be out regardless of the result tonight. Just watching his best bits reminds me just how good he has been in the competition and he’s a definite star.

20.33

and joining Matt in the final two is… Rebecca Furguson! so we have our two best vocalists in the final! should be two brilliant performances to come after we say goodbye to One Direction. They shouldn’t be too upset with 3rd considering they were thrown together at boot camp and they have had some great performances and we will be seeing them releasing an album within a year I’m sure.

20.30

and the first act through to the final two is… MATT CARDLE! I have to say that I’m very happy with that 🙂

20.29

oooooh here we go… the first dragged out results of the night… who will be finishing 3rd?

20.27

so the lines are now frozen!

even though he hasn’t been his best this weekend I’m hoping Matt has enough votes to perform his choice for the winners song and can really give a fantastic performance to show his true talent. Rebecca was really really good tonight and is a great singer and although she may be boring and wouldn’t really stand out in the industry, if it was down to vocals it would have to be her and Matt as the final two. However One Direction have also been performing very well lately and definitely have the popularity and maybe the biggest fan base as they are all from different areas of the UK, so it really is too close to call this one, but I’m going to make my prediction and I’m saying that 3rd place will be going to Rebecca Ferguson.

20.24

that woman may be taking dressing lessons from Rihanna but definitely not singing lessons! that performance wasn’t even that funny it was kind of some more time wasted in this show

20.21

woooo it’s the rubbish acts from the auditions!! we all love this part 🙂

20.16

well if it was all based on performances tonight then I’m afraid to say that Matt may be in trouble. Both Rebecca and One Direction were very good and Matt’s song choice may chose to haunt him as Firework really wasn’t the best song to suit his voice… this is going to be interesting to see who has performed for the last time and is finishing in 3rd place.

20.12

ooh there’s not even a break and we have the 3rd act of the night, Rebecca Ferguson standing behind a mic and singing Eurythmics – Sweet Dreams(Are Made Of This). An usual song choice and an unexpected one as well but I kind of loved it. The song not only showed off her great voice but it was fast paced as well which made it more entertaining and it was a very good performance indeed.

20.04

next up hoping to be the first ever group to win the X Factor is One Direction singing Natalie Imbruglia – Torn. An amazing song choice. This is the sort of stuff I hope they go on to release in future. It was performed brilliantly with all of the boys spot on with the vocals tonight. They have a lot of backers and a lot of fans but do they have enough to win?

19.56

I have a feeling the comments from the judges are going to be the same all night… “another fantastic performance”, “your in the final”, “you could win the show”. Oh look it’s another set of adverts. Fantastic!

19.53

ok so kicking off the performances tonight is Matt Cardle singing Katy Perry – Firework and as consistent as ever its another good performance. Not his best and there’s a lot more songs that would have been suited for his voice more but he belted it out and gave it his all.

19.45

and there’s the first ad break of the night… this is going to be a long show!

19.39

Oh and there’s the recaps of last night and the numbers. How many times will this be shown tonight then do you think?

19.37

Well I have to admit that before this show I was watching a bit of strictly where Take That performed Back For Good and… what? what is this? how did they get from BBC to ITV so quickly!! Also why are they on the stage performing with the X Factor finalists?

19.33

Well here we are the final is underway and the most dragged out show in the history of dragged out show begins in familiar fashion with over the top introductions of Dermot and the Judges!
