I for one am very excited that finally Limp Bizkit are back!!
Limp Bizkit are the band that got me hooked on rock and rap metal back in my primary school years and I’m excited to see if the return of one of the biggest bands in the genre will relight the genre and bring nu-metal back into the mainstream.
The band officially announced they were back together in 2009, and the album Gold Cobra which was originally planned to be released last year now officially has a release date of 28th June 2011 and is now a date I am very very excited for.
The first single off the album is called Shotgun and was released on 17th May and has already seen it in the top 10 in the rock charts all over the globe.
The track goes back to the same style of Limp Bizkit’s best early years, and even includes the first guitar solo to feature in one of their tracks. After only a few listens its clear to hear that Limp Bizkit are well and truely back! An exciting time for Limp Bizkit fans, nu-metal fans and rock fans around the world.
