Deadmau5 is one of the most recognisable and top DJ’s in the world today, with his own calibre of club hits and remixes.
So when I saw Raise Your Weapon(Madeon Remix) on Pete Tong’s BBC radio one playlist I didn’t know what to think of an unknown DJ Madeon remixing one of Deadmau5’s best tracks from his 4×4=12 album.
However, as soon as you click play on the video below you will feel just how I did after first hearing it, this is going to be good!
The remix is top notch! One of the best remixes I have ever heard in fact, and what makes it even more spectacular is when I found out Madeon is just 16 years old! This young French DJ has some other amazing remixes too, such as Pendulum – The Island and The Killers – Smile Like You Mean It, as well as some of his own tracks which are also really great house tracks.

I just love his disco electro pop style house and I a certain that Madeon will be one DJ to watch out for in the future.
Currently unsigned, but after this monstrous remix of Raise Your Weapon, I wouldn’t expect him to stay like that for long. Maybe even Deadmau5 could snap him up for his own label Mau5trap, you never know.
